Grožnjan again become a municipal center in 1993 and Grožnjan opportunity to use and enrich their resources and in agriculture and rural tourism such as ecological, cultural, cycling and excursions. Great results have been achieved in agriculture and the cultivation of traditional Mediterranean crops, vines and olive trees, and are known for cattle farming, the production of cheese, honey, growing flowers, mushrooms, fruits, vegetables and quality wines, primarily Refosco, Malvasia, Teran and Noir. Visitors can enjoy the many farmhouse restaurants which offers culinary specialties of the region, such as ham, cheese, pasta, gnocchi, roast baked asparagus, truffles and mushrooms. The summer months are a variety of artistic and cultural events, exhibitions, concerts and various events, while agriculture, rural tourism and small businesses have revived the wider environment of Grožnjan. Population Groznjan is mixed, Croats, Italians, Slovenians and others cultivate coexistence and the equal official use, Croatian and Italian.
