OPĆINA GORNJI MIHALJEVEC

Municipality of Gornji Mihaljevec is a unit of local self-government in the Međimurje County, Croatia. The municipality covers an area of village Badličan, Bogdanovec, Dragoslavec Hill, Dragoslavec Village, Gornja Dubrava, Gornji Mihaljevec, Martinuševec, Intersection, Prhovec, Tupkovec, Vugrišinec and Vukanovec. Municipality of Gornji Mihaljevec is located in the western part of Međimurje County, it borders with the neighbouring municipalities of Štrigova, Nedelišće, Sveti Juraj na Bregu, and in the far West, a distance of 5 km (5051m) the borders of the municipality coincides with the State border according to the Republic of Slovenia. The attractiveness of the landscape that consists of a harmonious mosaic of forest, agricultural and wine-growing area, and the village, is a box and suitable space for accommodation, catering primarily to the tourist attractions and accommodation capacities intended for rural and excursion tourism.
