The institution is a legal successor of the oldest protective workshops in Croatia which was operating under the name "Daisy" and was established in 1946. the year in Zagreb. The activity of URIHO-and that applies to the professional rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities from the general importance for society as a whole. The force employment is realized in the framework of the economic programs for textiles, ceramics, metal, skin, millinery, orthopaedics, cardboard and printing. Of the total number of employees at the facility URIHO 51% are persons with disabilities of different categories and profiles.
